‘TAKING GOV. BELLO TO TRIBUNAL IS A WASTE OF TIME’ -Prince Dan-Asabe

An Ajaokuta prince with large followers of supporters who are ready to drive the train of change along with the administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello, prince Abudulrahman Ibrahim Dan Asebe is the Kogi state youth leader of Buhari Supporter Organisation. The President A.Y.B (Alhaji Yahaya Bello) Youth Vanguard of Kogi in Diaspora. Dansebe-Asabe is also a successful business mogul with interest in constructions. He bares his mind on yearnings and expectations of the youths in the newly inaugurated regime of Alahji Yahaya Bello as a democratically elected governor of Kogi state in his interview with SECURITY MONITOR’s Ola Simon and Bisola Muraina, and re-affirmed that brilliants youths forms the yoke of A.P.C led government in the state.

AS A PARTY CHIEFTAIN, HOW WOULD YOU REACT TO THE CHALLENGES FACING THE APC IN THE STATE, WHERE SOME APC MEMBERS ARE CHALLENGING THE EMERGENCE OF YAHAYA BELLO AS A GOVERNOR OF KOGI STATE?

There is no cause for alarm as Almighty Allah who brought in Alhaji Yahaya Bello as a governor will see him through the litigation. Yahaya Bello was ordained to govern the state. Whoever challenges him is challenging the will of Almighty God and I don’t know how they are going to succeed. To me, I believe taking Goveurt is a waste of time and misplaced of priority. I have my reasons. The emergence of the governor is not only divine but highly constitutional and the outcome of the case shall see us victorious.

AS A YOUTH LEADER DO YOU SEE THE YOUTH OF KOGI STATE REAPING THE BENEFIT OF THEIR LABOUR IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF GOVERNOR BELLO?

Of course, we have started benefiting right from the onset. The campaign, the electioneering and the votes that brought in the governor is largely dominated by the youths. And now, out of the appointments made so far by the Governor the youths take 70% of it. So far, the appointees of the governor are youths who posses the energy and ideas required to transform the state.
Governor Bello, belong to our generation and we are proud of him. His regime is undoubtedly a blessing to the youths and the entire state. His appointees so far are passionate youths of digital ideas, not analogue, but ideas that will transform Kogi state into Paradise on Earth. I can say with all confidence that all the appointees are ready to expedite action on the good intentions and programs of Governor Bello administration.

SOME SAYS KOGI STATE IS VERY BACKWARD. DO YOU SEE THE STATE WEARING A NEW LOOK UNDER THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION?

Alhaji Yahaya Bello is a productive governor. He is a business man and by the time he brings his business ideas into politics the state will definitely wears a new look. Lokoja, the state capital will be able to contest favourable with any other developed state capital in Nigeria and beyond. I must tell you, the state will be transformed. We have natural resources in the state by the time local and foreign investors are motivated to do business in the state the problem of employment facing the youth will be a thing of the past.

WHAT IS YOUR COMMENT ABOUT THE DEMOLITION OF THE ROUNDABOUTS IN THE STATE CAPITAL?

Kogi state deserves modern and befitting structures. The roundabouts are old and archaic. We are constructing new ones to replace the out dated ones. It’s not only roundabout, many physical structures will be built and reconstructed. Governor Bello has relinquished his security vote as sacrifice and this will add to the benefit of the many kogites. Let us all exercise patients and support him wholeheartedly, I believe in him and he will surely deliver.
