NO HIDDEN PLACE FOR CRIMINALS SAYS POLCE AS LAGOS COMMAND CONTINUES CLAMP DOWN ON CRIMINALS, ARREST ROBBERY SUSPECT
THE Lagos state Police Command through its operatives at Ajangbadi Division had on Monday 9/5/16 at about 1400hrs received information that Sunday James Ukpe, 33, male of no. 113 zone 6 Orisha Imude Ajangbadi area of lagos state is a wanted armed robbery suspect and Kidnapper who escaped from Akwa-Ibom state with a gun shot. The suspect was arrested in Ajangbadi about 1600 hrs with a fresh wound on his private part applying native medication.
After intense interrogations, Ukpe confessed to have been shot in Akwa ibom state. Due to the critical nature of the gun shot which damaged part of his testis he was taken to a private hospital where he was admitted under the surveillance of police operatives. Investigation extended to Akwa- Ibom state Police Command confirmed that the suspect is a serial killer and armed robber who has been on the wanted list of the SARS of that state.
According to Dolapo Badmus, a Superintended of Police, SP and Lagos State Police Public Relation Officer, PPRO “effort is ongoing to hand him over to Akwa Ibom state command for discreet investigation and possible prosecutions.
However, the Lagos State Police Command has stated that it will continue to clamp down on all criminals within Lagos state regardless of where they have committed their crimes command. The police warns that Lagos can never be a hidden place for criminals as operation clamp down on criminals continues.
