AMOSUN FELICITATES WIH IYALODE OF REMOLAND

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has felicitated with Chief (Mrs) Folashade Ogunbiyi on the conferment of Chieftaincy title as Iyalode of Remoland by the Akarigbo,Paramount Ruler of Remoland, Oba (Dr.) Michael Adeniyi Sonariwo.
Governor Amosun represented by his Deputy, Chief (Mrs.) Yetunde Onanuga who led Government’s delegation to the event revealed that the occasion was symbolic, saying that Chief (Mrs) Ogunbiyi’s conferment came barely one week after her 70th Birthday celebration.
The Governor added that the title in no doubt was a reward for her commitment, diligence and valuable contributions to the growth and development of Remoland, urging the celebrant to consolidate on the achievements of her predecessor, late Chief (Mrs.) HID Awolowo for a progressive Remoland.
The Vicar, Saint John’s Anglican Church,Sagamu, Ven. Olugbenga Babatunji, earlier in his sermon titled ‘’You are the salt of the world’’ charged the newly installed Iyalode to increase her love for Christ and dwell more in the presence of the Lord.
