Peace Corps Recruitment: Kogi Commandant Ogaku Warns Scammers
Kogi state command of the the Nigerian Peace Corps has distanced itself from the recruitment scam being perpetrated by some individual who are charging seventy thousand naira and above with a promise to get them enlisted into the Peace Corps of Nigeria, PCN
The State Commandant of the Corps, Mr Caleb Ogaku who stated this while addressing news men said his attention has been drawn to the reports activities of some criminal minded individuals who are carrying out illegal recruitment into the staff officer cadre. The Commandant warned perpetrators to desist or face the consequences of their nefarious activities.
The Commandant said security agencies have been alerted about the ugly act and appealed to individuals who have information that can lead to the arrest of the criminals to approach appropriate authorities.
He also advised the public to always seek appropriate information in all their transactions, stressing that genuine form for the recruitment exercise is sold at the rate of one thousand five hundred naira.
