Why President Buhari Will Not Resume on Monday

As Nigerians anxiously await the arrival of their president, Muhammodu Buhari there are clear indications that the president health condition deserves more medical attention than peoples’ expectation for the president’s Monday resumption.
This is coming as the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed deny ever comment on the health of Mr. President. In a statement made available to SECURITY MONDAY on Sunday by the minister aide the minister deny the media report saying the President’s return to Nigeria may be hampered by a faulty aircraft.
The Minister has not spoken to anyone on the issue of the President’s return, hence this report is another from the stable of the purveyors of fake news and should be disregarded.

However,President Muhammadu Buhari has written to the National Assembly on Sunday February 5, 2017, informing of his desire to extend his leave in order to complete and receive the results of a series of tests recommended by his doctors.

The President had planned to return to Abuja this evening, but was advised to complete the test cycle before returning. The notice has since been dispatched to the Senate President, and Speaker, House of Representatives.

Mr. President expresses his sincere gratitude to Nigerians for their concern, prayers and kind wishes.
