African Church Holds Congress in Isanlu as Most Rev. Adeyemi Harps on Praise Worship
The Archbishop of the African Church, Oka Akoko Province, The Most Reverend B.T Adeyemi stated this during its Maiden Provincial Congress with the theme; ‘Power of His Praise’ held at Bagido – Mopo, Isanlu in Yagba East Local Government Area.
Archbishop Adeyemi who read from the book of Second Chronicles Chapter twenty said the Israelites, through divine intervention defeated their enemies when they praised God despite the numerous nations confronting them.
He explained that all creatures ahead of man have always praised God, noting that , circumstances that surround us should not dictate our attitude to God or forced human to seek help else where.
Speaking on the psycho – social conditions of the nation, the Archbishop who condemned the religious crises and the mayhem unleashed by the Fulani herdsmen across the country called for a collaborative efforts between the State and the Federal government for the maintenance of law and order particularly in Southern Kaduna.
He appealed to the Federal government to swiftly enact law prohibiting unlawful grazing outside the cattle ranches to curb the incessant attacks unleashed by the herdsmen as well as their tendencies to kidnapped people and demand for ransom.
Archbishop Adeyemi also suggested the provision of a more friendly policies to attract foreign investors to address unemployment, alternative source of energy to save the nation from darkness as well as changing Nigeria currency to further expose the looters.
While urging Christians not to relent in their prayers for those in position of authorities, the Archbishop prayed for God’s blessings on the nation and the delegates at the Congress.
