MTN Never Demand Gratification From Customers Before Claiming Prize

By Ola Simon/ MTN will continue to enhance its service in Nigeria to serve the country more than any other GSM (Global System for Mobile Telecommunication) service in the country.  The Manager of the Lokoja Branch of the MTN office, Mr.Salifu Emmanuel stated this in a chat with SECURITY MONITOR’s correspondent in Lokoja. Mr. Emmanuel reiterates the commitment of the telecommunications giant to provide qualitative services to residents of Kogi state and Nigerian in general.

He assures that MTN will not relent in its efforts at offering the best of services to its customers at affordable rates, noting that the company, being the largest network will continue to play critical roles aim at promoting other critical sectors such as education, culture, agriculture and all forms of empowerment programmes.

He added that the company has the best hands from across the country  to manage it affairs and cope with modern challenges in the telecommunication industry, Mr. Emmanuel assures that Nigerians will continue to enjoy better services particularly in the aspect of home and international calls as well as internet browsing.

He also advises customers to be careful with the information they disclosed to people they are not familiar with on phone pointing out that the MTN will never request for gratification from customers to claim any prize they have won.

“I want to add that people should avoid disclosing their bank’s details and transactions to strangers who might want to swindle them through phone call or Internet browsing”.

While advising the public to always clarify issues by dialing 180 for direct contact
with  the customer care, Mr Emmanuel added that the company operates an open door policy and as well welcome feed backs from its numerous customers.
