Bisimilahi Preaches nationalistic approach towards building a better Nigeria

Nigerians have been urged  to be nationalistic in their approach towards solving the problems confronting the nation.

The Imole Adinni of Okun land, Alhaji Tajudeen Bisimilahi made the appeal while laying a foundation for the construction of a Jumat mosque at Ponyan in Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State.

Alhaji Bisimilahi said the incessant agitation and violent attacks of the secessionists insurgency emanate  from wrong perception towards Nigeria as an entity and called for more concentration on national interests.

He explained that social amenities and good living outweigh the value placed on tribalism, religion and ethnic prejudice pointing out that developed nation of the world concentrate more on national issues.

Alhaji Bisimilahi who is also the Chairman of Okun Muslim Council Abuja branch commended all his members for their contributions toward the project and expressed appreciation to the host community which is Christian predominant area for providing the land for the construction.

He urged the people of the state to keep praying for the good health of President Buhari and speedy development of the country.

In a remark, the Chairman of the Okun Muslim Council in Kano, Alhaji Abdulwahab  Mohammed who emphasized that charity is one of the cardinal ethics of Islam, assured of his support to the project.

Also speaking, the Chief Imam of Ponyan Central Mosque, Mallam Muhammed Basir who disclosed that the old mosque was built in the early seventies noted that the increase in the population of Moslems in the area necessitated the demand for a larger place of worship.

He thanked Alhaji Bisimilahi for his passion towards spiritual matter anf prayed for divine favour upon him and the people of the area.

Present at the event were the supervisor of the project, Alhaji Lukman Immam and Mr Ibitoye Olurotimi.
