ATACA HOLDS ANNUAL SEMINAR AS Peace Group Pledges to Improve On Service Delivery
The Chairman, Chief Executive Officer, Peace Group of Companies, ( Owners of Peace Mass Transit Limited), Sir Samual Maduka Onyishi, has said that the group is determined to deliver better services to customers.
Chief Sam Onyishi said this on Thursday 20 September 2018 in his goodwill message during the 2nd Annual Seminar organised by the Abuja Transport and Aviation Correspondent Association (ATACA), on September 20, 2018.
Chief Onyishi who was represented by the The Public Relation Officer (North), Mr. Jude Chinwlke Ngwu, said that Peace Mass Transit Limited which started operations in 1995 with two buses has more than three thousand buses with more than two thousand of the buses plying the road everyday.
He said that over thirty thousand passengers use Peace Mass Transit Buses daily.
“Over the years, our services have appreciated in target to satisfy our passengers and increase patronage, and this have contributed in where we are today” he noted.
Addressing the participants in the event, he acknowledged the government for the conducive atmosphere created through the friendly policies within the industry.
“The Buhari led administration is doing well in its friendly policies within the Sector through the minister of transportation” he also
Its also very glowing to an extent that even the blind can see the achievements of the administration in the transport sector. Only God can reward this administration” he also noted.
Peace group consist of Peace Mass Transit Limited, Peace Petroluem Limited, Peace Courier Services, Peace Micro Finance Limited, Peace Stock Exchange etc.
The ATACA which had the theme, Financing and Developing Transport Infrastructure in Nigeria: Opportunities and Threats, had Engr. Chidi Izuwah, the Acting Director General of Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission as chairman.
Other participants were, Mr Hassan Bello, the Executive Secretary of Shippers Council of Nigeria, Ambassador Eunice Odeghe, the President/Founder, Female Drivers Association of Nigeria (FEDAN) and other transportation related stakeholders
