MAJA Presidential Candidate Decries Massacre of Nigerians In Zuba

The presidential candidate of Mass Action Joint Alliance (MAJA), Bishop Prof. Funmilayo Adesanya-Davies has decries the killings of Shitte Muslims in Zuba Abuja, ” says Nigeria is a multi-religious country and it is high time we play dawn on religion and allow our secularism to prevail in our constitution. In a secular state, as Nigeria, there should be free practice of religion without any recourse to government intervention officially. Religion is a very personal thing with God the almighty ceeator.”

In a statement signed by Isioma C. Nkenchor Media Assistant to PMA Campaign Organization  stated that Mercy Adesanya-Davies who broke down at the report on killings of Christians in Kaduna last week, which is still on-going says, “It is so sad that Nigeria’s government has once again extra-judiciously unleashed the army to massacre the Shitte religious minorities observing their rites in Abuja, yesterday, Saturday 27th, 2018.”

Reports state that, “Nigerian army has killed defenceless civilians in Saudi style, in Nigeria, as at least two are killed and several injured as Radical extremist-led Nigerian army fires on peaceful religious procession at Zuba, Abuja in their religious procession.” Why is it that second to the Christian community in Nigeria, the Shitte Muslim minority has also come under constant siege and persecution as in Saudi MbS Khashoggi blatant murder style, since Buhari came into power?”

The Islamic Movement has since cautioned, “the security agents to stop harassing her members again and again, yet they have recently confirmed killings at Zuba in the outskirts of Abuja by some soldiers of the Nigerian Army, as they were in a peaceful religious procession of Arba’een from Suleja.”

The press statement released by Ibrahim Musa, the President, Media Forum of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria said that, “the Movement vehemently condemned the action of the security agents, as “unwarranted, since the march has been peaceful.” It further added, “In fact it was being rounded up for the day, when soldiers opened fire on the peaceful marchers without any provocation whatsoever.”

So we request from the President as the commander-in-chief and his security agencies that, “If the security agents are trigger-happy, then they should save their arms and bullets to other Northern parts of the country, engulfed in violence, by Boko haram, Muslim assailants and uncontrollable Fulani headsmen but not on innocent peaceful Shittes marchers carrying no arms with them” the Bishop presidential hopeful from the North Central, Kwara state, she added.

Adesanya-Davies therefore condemns the continuous killings of Christians and Shittes Muslims in the nation saying, “Nigeria is not a “Sharia State” but a country of freedom of religion of any form for all and calls for the overdue release of the Shittes leader. Nigeria is a secular state, she insists that, “freedom of religion should be duly guaranteed everywhere in the country.” And moreover, “GOD IS ONE UNIVERSAL GOD, AND WE ARE ALL SERVING ONLY ONE GOD THE CREATOR OF MANKIND.”

The Female flag-bearer of MAJA, Princess Davies thus pray for the repose of the souls of the departed, that God would console the bereaved families and we the remaining Nigerians as well; and grant us peace and unity in the Nigerian nation in her entirety as we all look forward to the coming general elections.

 Ambp. Bishop Prof. Ade-Davies further advances and advocates,” ‘that all killings in the name of religion’ especially killing of Christians, would need to end, not only in Nigeria but all over the world, as we are our brothers keepers, and so why is Cain killing Abel till now, and Abels blood seeking for God’s vengence in the universe.”

The MAJA Candidate enjoins the Nigerian Youths to continue to live in peace and pursue their peaceful protests against killings and massacres but never be unrully at any time, as this is their time to take over and make things right. “Haba! Why? First it’s the Christians, now is the Shittes Muslims, next is what! The hand writing is so clear on the wall; and so Nigeria needs a re-definition, direction and orientation, by ensuring human’s dignity and placing value on human lives in Nigeria come 2019, when I as a mother become the first female President of Nigeria by the grace of God.”
