Ikorodu Postpones Annual Asa Carnival

The Organiser of the yearly Asa Festival regrets to announce the postponement of this year’s edition tagged Ere Osupa 2018 and earlier billed to hold tomorrow Friday December 21, 2018.

While assuring the public that a new date will be announced soon as all disbursement needed to make the event a success have been done already, we appeal for the deepest understanding from all and sundry given that the most unexpected postponement was due to developments requiring us to make a sacrificial decision in the situation at hand.
The postponement of the Lagos State government approved annual cultural events was the best we could do in the situation, and this we did, bearing in mind the inconveniences it will cause a lot of people within and outside Ikorodu. For these we profusely apologize.
On behalf of the Initiator and promoter of ASA festival, the Opomulero of Ikorodu Kingdom and the Lagos Majority Leader, Hon. S.O.B AGUNBIADE, we appealed to our esteemed partners and the general public to bear with us as we all look forward to a new date.
