"Why I'm Eyeing Kogi Guber Seat' -Dr. Tim Diche

Dr. Tim Nda Diche is one of those eying the gubernatorial seat in Kogi State. Tim is said to be loved by many grassroots politician and findings reveal that he could get his peoples’ nod to lead Kogites to Eldorado.

“My aspiration to become the next Kogi State governor of our dear state is borne out of my passion to initiate, implement and sustain genuine developmental projects as being witnessed by many advanced society in the world”. Tim said this during an interactive chat with SECURITY MONITOR in Abuja recently.

“John Henrik Clarke once said ‘history is not everything, but it is a starting point. History is a clock that people use to tell their political and cultural time of the day. It is a compass they use to find themselves on the map of human geography. It tells them where they are, but, more importantly, what they must be”.

“It’s no more an unfolding tidings that kogi state is one of the most blessed states in Africa with Natural resources, but the question here is, has these resources being harnessed to the brim? If yes, does it show on the lives of the Kogites, Nigerians and other countries that should have benefited from all of these?

Speaking further, the politician added that “If the above questions are not justifiably positive, it then means we need to have a leader that is mind made up, focused to the later and a leader that is equipped with all it takes to deliver a better Kogi state to the benefit of all”.

I remembered what Colin Powell once said ‘You are not just voting for an individual, in my judgment, you are voting for an agenda.You are voting for a platform. You are voting for a political philosophy’.

The political warlord I just quoted made himself understood that a vote ascribed to an individual is a vote regarding an agenda, a platform and a political philosophy.

“I’m embarking on Prosperity Mission At this point. And I wish to tell Kogites and the world that my agenda for the state is one which would bring about Sustainable Development in the state. The Agenda is an inclusion for all and it would be void of gender, faith, and ethnicity discrimination”, Dr. Tim declared.

“As B.R. Ambedkar rightly said “Political democracy cannot last unless there is social democracy. Social democracy means a way of life which recognizes liberty, equality, and fraternity as the principles of life’. Social democracy is one agenda I will implement to the fullest.

Dr.Tim however, uncovers the second slide of his agenda which emphasized on prosperity mission, he said, “Poverty is multidimensional. It extends beyond money incomes to education, health care, political participation and advancement of one’s own culture and social organization’.

“My blueprint and manifesto speak volume of my intended war against poverty in the state, I have vouched to lead a government that address mirages of problem bedeviling Kogi state ranging from education, health care, unemployment, security and other challenges”.

The guber hopeful further encourages Kogites to keep the hope alive. He acknowledges the trust they have on him, stating that he would not disappoint if given the opportunity to lead the state.
