Trailer Crushes Police Inspector To Death In Lagos

A fatal accident that occurred in Ajah area of Lagos state has claimed the life of a traffic police inspector simply identified as Seun.
Our correspondent gathers that Inspector Seun is a popular traffic controller at Langbasa Divisional Police Headquarters in Ajah area of Lagos state.
SECURITY MONITOR learns that the hardworking police inspector met an untimely death after closing from his duty post at Badore, Ajah on Tuesday. He was said to have relaxed a bit at the station and later drove out of the with the intention of going home.
The police officer who was said to be living at Oloko-Nla area of Ajah was very close to his house when a trailer driver lost control of his truck and swapped to the other side of the road to collide with an upcoming vehicle. The truck and Inspector Seun’s car suddenly collided around Ajiwe Police station where the traffic officer was said to be working before. Eye witnesses told SECURITY MONITOR that the truck accidentally has a busted tire which led to the unfortunate incidence.
Motorists and passersby were said to have rushed to the scene and took the inspector to a nearby hospital but he gave up the ghost around 4:am on Wednesday morning.
Survived by wife, children and aged mother, Inspector Seun was said to have been born and raised in Ile-Ife, Osun state but it was gathered that his parents were from Ijebu Iperu area of Ogun state. Arrangement were also said to be at the top gear to bury the late officer at his Ijebu Iperu home on Friday.
