Lagos Donates More Security Gadgets to Police; ‘CSP Adejobi added that Commissioner of Police appreciates the Lagos State Security Trust Fund’
By Kayode Adeyemo/LAGOS// The Commissioner in charge of Lagos State Police Command, Hakeem Odumosu has received Push-To-Talk Communication Sets from the Lagos State Security Trust Fund. The spokesman of the command Olumuyiwa Adejobi, a Chief Superintendent of Police, CSP discloses this in a statement to newsmen on Friday.
“The delegation from the LSTF, comprising Dr Ayodele Ogunsan, board member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, Mr Lewis Degbola and Miss Ada Nwamkwo, did the presentation today at the Conference Room, Command Headquarters, ikeja. The Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, who received the sophisticated gadgets from the LSTF, was assisted by the Deputy Commissioner of Police,Operations, DCP Ahmed Kontangora, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Department of Finance and Administration,DCP Bassey Ewah, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Operations, ACP Dotun Odubona, some Divisional Police Officers and Command’s communication controllers”.
CSP Adejobi added that Commissioner of Police appreciates the Lagos State Security Trust Fund.
“officers and men of the command should make judicious use of the gadgets for the purpose which they are meant, says CP Odumosu as he warns police personnel to protect the gadgets from damage and loss.
The police spokesman added that the delegation of LSTF and its consulting firm did a demo for the use and maintenance of the gadgets to suit the operational requirements and engagements of the command.
