Nkemdi Mordi Shines As Ohaneze Most Outstanding Woman 2021, Thanks Fans

By Stephen Olusegun/LAGOS// Dr. (Mrs) Nkemdi Mordi was again celebrated in Lagos as she bags another Philanthropist Award. She was bestowed with the Most Outstanding Woman in 2021. The woman of substance, Dr Mordi won similar award in the year 2019., making her the recipient of the same award in two consecutive years.

In her appreciation message made available to SECURITY MONITOR, the awardee showers encomium on her family, friends and reiterates her determination to do more for humanity.

Below is the full text of the speech delivered by Dr. Mordi at the award ceremony:

‘I am grateful for receiving this award, I am at a loss of words seeing such a huge crowd its hard to put this feelings into words but I will try.

Thank you to the body Ohaneze Indigbo Lagos State “especially Ohaneze Indigbo Ojo Iba Lagos State you indeed brought me home , back to my roots.

Thank you to all who were also contenders for this award, seeing my name on the same list as you are an achievement itself.

Standing here I am reminiscent of what a long journey it has been. I am so grateful to everyone who believed in me and helped in my journey. The most important ones being my husband, parents, family, friends, colleagues and welwishers who have always supported me and giving a feedback valuable enough.

Thank you for staying with me as everyday is a new challenge and a task to deal with and come up with innovative solutions.

The creativity in part of my profession is to keep intact for keeping the women and youths together.
