Court Orders DSS to Apologise to Sowore Over Phone Seizure
A Federal High Court judge, Justice Anwuli Chikere ruled that seizure of publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore’s mobile phones by the DSS is illegal, and violation of my rights.
According to Sowore in his The Facebook wall, “judge further ruled that the forfeiture of my phones since 2019 using the subterfuge of my alleged links with “terrorists” is illegal, null and void and ordered DSS to pay me N2m!
DSS the judge also ordered DSS to apologize to Sowore in two national dailies within 30 days.
