Sponsored Attack Won’t Stop Me from Quality Representation in Jigawa’, Says Hon. Magaji Aliyu

House of Representatives Member for Birnin Kudu/Buji Federal constituency of Jigawa State, Hon. Magaji Da’u Aliyu, has said the unfortunate recent attack on his convoy in the State, was sponsored by his political detractors who were threatened by the record of his sterling performance in the green chambers of the National Assembly.
Da’u insisted that he has offered effective and quality representation for his constituents in his years at the Federal House of Representatives, pointing out that he has personally sponsored and attracted people-oriented projects to the constituency with verifiable records.
The Federal lawmaker stated that his effective representation had been widely acknowledged by his teeming constituents and party stakeholders, stressing that recently members of his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC across 248 polling units of the constituency passed a vote of confidence on him for his good representation and people-oriented leadership.
According to the legislator he had executed over 18 road projects, hundreds of solar street lights, construction of classroom blocks in schools, built maternity hospitals, and attracted to the constituency the Federal Government College of Special Education project which was approved by President Muhammadu Buhari.
He maintained he has constantly kept in touch with his constituents and was focused bringing more dividends of democracy to them, challenging anyone with allegation of his poor performance to come forward and prove going by the number of projects he has executed for the good of his people.
Da’u said he was focused to sustain his effective representation for the people, noting that he would not be distracted by the antics of his detractors who mean no good for the people of Birnin Kudu/Buji Federal constituency.
He urged his constituents to keep faith with him, adding that he was determined to lobby more development projects for the people who he said gave him the singular opportunity to represent them at the National Assembly.
Hon Engr Magaji Da’u Aliyu was born on July 21st, 1963. He is an indigene of Birnin Kudu Local Government Area of Jigawa State, Nigeria.
Hon Aliyu attended Bayero University Kano where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He also obatined many professional certifications such as, PCDM MBA and others.
He was, in 2015 elected into the National Assembly to represent Birnin-Kudu/Buji Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC). His legislative interest is in oil & gas.
