Group Alleges Police DPO of Conniving with Land Grabbers, Petitions Police Authority, Seeks Sanwo-Olu’s Intervention

A human rights organization, the Centre for Human Rights and Social Justice (CHRSJ) has written a Petition Letter to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), the Chairman Police Service Commission (PSC), Executive Secretary, National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Lagos State Government and others concerned authorities over what it termed as conspiracy of Divisional Police Officer(DPO), Ilogbo-Eremi town with phone number:- *+2348033711867*, with thugs/Land-grabbers in the area.

The land-grabbers/ thugs in Ilogbo-Eremi town in Olorunda Local Council Development Area(LCDA) of Badagry Local government area of Lagos State, have been tormenting the people of the area on their land with the total support of *Ilogbo-Eremi lawless DPO:-(+234 8033711867)*.

Although, the rights group(CHRSJ) had begun a complete locomotive legal action against the thugs by dragging them before the higher authority of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and other concern authorities for immediate intervention to safe the life of innocent lives of *Mr. Sunday Pius Idowu(+2348136457547), Mr. Adele Idowu(+234 9061832139) Mrs. Blessing Oluwapo(+234 8169585488)* and host of others Victims in the hand of the ILOGBO-EREMI land-Grabbers, Trespassers, encrochers and other notorious attackers like thugs, Hoollgarns, killer’s, hoodlums and their cohorts.

The said parcel of land belonging to *late Chief Kole Idowu of Adumbo Osunba family* in the town of Ilogbo- Eremi, which the thugs/land-grabbers wanted to hijack from the children of *late Chief Kole Idowu*.

The alleged *thugs led by one  acclaimed Baale(Chief),Mr. Kehinde Idowu (+2348034484130) and Taiye Ojo(+2348029886279)*, adding that Kehinde Idowu taught that because he was bearing Idowu as part of his name, he could use it to claim the parcel of land by employing the service of one *acclaimed Soldier called Ade with phone number:-+234 7069244440* from the real children owner.

But *investigation alleged that the said Soldier Ade is a man friend to woman DPO of Ilogbo-Eremi Divisional Police Station(DPO)*, adding that Mr. Sunday Idowu PIUS sold the part of the land to Mrs. Blessing Oluwapo, who was introduced by the Mr. PIUS younger brother *Mr. Adele Idowu*.

   Where the *Soldier Ade:-(+234 7069244440)*

 led land-grabbers/ thugs to distrupt the ongoing construction by the Bricklayers and labourer that were working on the parcel of the land by illegally arresting and unlawfully detained them and their *tools including, shovel, giggers, plum measurement and others on the order of Ilogbo- Eremi Divisional Police Officer(DPO)*, a woman friend to acclaimed Soldier.

 Others land- grabbers/thugs are; *Mr. Raji* with phone number:- *(+2347062939597), Mr.Saka Jimoh(+2348036553567), Bisiriyu Alawe Taiwo, Sikiru Aina Ekun, Moshood Kadiri, Lawal Alade and Franscis Fadairo*.

The said acres of land, were transferred to the children of late Chief Kole Idowu, headed by *Mr. Sunday Pious Idowu,:-(+234 8136457547 /+2348097039548)* through inheritance.

The investigation added that the acres of land were situated and located at *Ona-Oke area of Ilogbo-Eremi town of Badagry Local Government area of the State* with *Survey Plan with titled: “Proposed Residential Lay-Out Plan for Adumbo Osunba Family”*.

The land-grabbers/ thugs began to tresspass into the land of Kole Idowu in the community by *putting Charm* to scare those who were working on the land for residential purpose.

According to Sunday Idowu as contained in his *Nine(9) Paragraphs Affidavit Sworn* to at the *Lagos High Court, Ikeja, dated 8th of November,2021*, to support their claims on the said land by giving the legal authourity to the human rights organization(CHRSJ) to take up the issue by seeking redress for the family on the subject matter.

Recalling earlier that CHRSJ had earlier condemned a *Lagos State Divisional Police Officer(DPO)*, Mr. *Johnson Olusoji with Phone number:-(+234 8035707563)* and one *Inspector Funmi with Phone number:-(+234 7033962683)* and their partner in crime of Phone Number:- *(+2348033787049)* , over an allegation of declaring support to these *land-grabbers/ thugs* because of *alleged bribe collected* from them against the innocent citizens of the town, particularly, the *illegal arrest of three(3) brothers of OSUNBA/Sunday Idowu PIOUS family* in the area over *trump-up issue* raised by *land- grabbers*.

Mr.*Olusoji, a then Divisional Police Officer(DPO)* in charge of *Morogbo Divisional Police Station, Badagry, under Area”K” Police Command* in the State, had directed one Woman Police officer *Funmi*, who claimed to be an *IPO* to write an invitation Letter to invite one *Mr. Toyin Banuso:-(+234 8028050411)* and others with the main aim of putting them incommunicado in order to do the bid of these *land-grabbers* in the area.

Information has it that, DPO Olusoji was in the known of this matter and he always gave the Police support to the illegal action of these thugs and land grabbers in the area, with the coordination of the Station DCO, adding that DPO Olusoji collected sum of *One hundred and Twenty thousand naira(N120,000)* as bail funds and still requesting for the balance of *Eighty thousand naira(N80,000) from Sunday Pious Idowu and his brothers*, through the most corrupt police officer of this Phone Number:- *(+2348033787049)* before the intervention of the *human rights organization(CHRSJ)*.

Speaking on the issue, the Executive Chairman of CHRSJ, Comrade Adeniyi Alimi Sulaiman, in a statement and copies were made available to newsmen on Thursday, urged the *”Area K Command of the Nigeria Police Force( NPF)”* covering the area, to relieve itself from the interference on the subject matter because the *IGP office and Police Service Commission(PSC)* including *National Human Rights Commission(NHRC)* are working on the rights group(CHRSJ) petition in  the matter, in order to avoid duplication of duty and disobedience to higher authorities of the Force in Nigeria.

Comrade Sulaiman, called on the *Inspector General of Police(IGP) in to quickly wade into the matter by *arresting* the aforementioneded  *thugs* over their illegality in order to *prevent* the *further breaking down of law and order* in the area.

Sulaiman, who doubles as Convener, *Save Lagos Group (SLG)*, maintained that the human rights body would soon re-write another Petition Letter to the police authorities again including; *Inspector General of Police(IGP), Police Service Commission(PSC), Police Affairs Council(PAC), State Commissioner of Police, National Human Rights Commission(NHRC)* and host of others by still explaining the further conspiracy of the Police with the criminals in the area over the issue.

He then, further described the action of DPO Ilogbo- Eremi, her boys and her alleged Man Friend(Ade;+234 7069244440) as *unlawfull, illegal, lawlessness, indiscipline, undemocratic, unconstitutional, aberration, anathema, arrogance, unprofessional, abomination, nonchalant, abuse of office* and action contrary to the amended 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
