Olasubomi on her tour to Slovakia also discovered Pastor
Paul who was running close to 5 units for the refugees without any support from government, he has used the church funds and personal funds to fund the rescue operations as well as providing welfare for the young people. She immediately invited the media to create awareness of the Slovakia situation and before she left Slovakia on the 6th of March, donations had started coming in.
I am currently in Hungary and here Nigerian government had already evacuated some citizens while many still awaits evacuation. Olasubomi visited various housing units where African refugees are accomodated (mostly students) to encourage students and provide available opportunities.
She is currently strategising on how to evacuate students from Summy – Ukraine. She has met with students who escapped from Summy and they are all working together towards a successful evacuation of students to neighboring States.
For students already evacuated to Nigeria,
Olasubomi is currently appealing for private universities in Nigeria to rise up to the rescue of these students. She is seeking for scholarships to motivate students for immediate admission to engage the minds of these young people.
She is already in touch with stakeholders of Bells University, Covenant University and Redeemer University.
