CONYSSA Inaugurates Borno State Chapter, Calls for Strategic Synergy to Combat insecurity
The Coalition of Nigerian Youth on Security and Safety Affairs Borno State Chapter has on Sunday the 6th day of March, 2022 inaugurates the State Executive members at NULGE Secretariat Maiduguri, Borno State. The Inauguration took Place in the presence of the Director General of the Organisation in person of Amb. Ade Mario Emmanuel and all the dignitaries present at the event.
The occasion was warmly graced by the Representative of the Theatre Commander of Operation Hadin Kai North East, the Representative of the Commissioner of Police, the Representative of the Shehu of Borno, The Representative of the Hon. Commissioner Min. Of Inter- Governmental Affairs and Special Duties, the Representative of the Director of DSS, the Representative of the Comptroller of the Immigration Service, the Representative of the Peace Corps, the Representative of Man O War, the CAN Youth President and the Christian Youth Vanguard.
At the event, the Theatre Commander of Operation Hadin Kai is recognised for his tremendous efforts in combating the Insurgency in the North East and the success the Theatre recorded so far. The Commander’s contribution to Borno and Borno Youths was also commendable. In respect of the above the Theatre Commander was awarded with National Leadership Outstanding Award as the Security Ambassador of the Year. The Secretary of the Catholic Diocese of Maiduguri, Rev. Father John Bakeni was also recognised for his Peace Building Activities and his contribution towards Peace enhancements among Borno Youths. He is awarded with a National Leadership Outstanding Award as an Icon of Peace.
Other Awardees includes Dr. Midala Balami Usman, Mrs. Fatima Yerima Askira and Mrs Aishatu Kabu Alh. Damboa all for their individual stride and effort towards seeing a better Borno State.
The Dignitaries present task the Youth not to relent in the cause of contributing their quota towards the Security and Safety of their immediate environment and the country at large.
The Director General of CONYSSA Amb Ade. Mario Emmanuel call on the Federal Government and the Security Architecture of the Country to key into the vision of CONYSSA so as to bridge the gap between the Security Architecture of the Country and her citizens in the course of addressing the lingering issue of insecurity in the country.
