Osun SDP Guber Hopeful Promises to Sustain Any Good Concept of Past Governments in the State
The Gubernatorial Candidate of the Social Democratic Party SDP in the race for the Osun Governorship this 16th July 2022, Arc. Goke Omigbodun, has declared his intention to sustain all good programs, concepts and projects established by past and present administrations in the State.
He made this declaration on a live radio program, Politics Naija on Tungba FM 100.9 (Lagos) and 90.3 (Osun) stations.
Arc. Omigbodun spoke of better funding for the OSBC Radio and Television Stations established by the late Isiaka Adeleke administration of 1991/92, expanding the Rural Housing program of the Bisi Akande era of 1998-2003 and adopting the Osun State University campuses of the 2003-2010 Olagunsoye Oyinlola regime as centres of his planned AGBADA-OYE (Melting Pot of Percipience) that will be ICT-based Job Creation hubs akin to those in the Silicone Valley of California, USA and Bangalore India.
The Social Democratic Party SDP Governorship Hopeful also indicated his intention to adopt the educational materials that are soft components of the now moribund Opon-Imo introduced about 2010-2018 by the then Governor Rauf Aregbesola, as well as upgrade the status of his O-YES cadets from sweeping streets to being AGBADA-OYE hub participants.
The Amotekun security corp established during the present Governor Gboyega Oyetola administration will, according to Arc. Goke Omigbodun, be better equipped with ICT related gadgets that will also be made available for other government security agencies like the police, DSS and the Civil Defense formations.
Arc. Goke Omigbodun, once Osun State Program Monitoring Adviser of the United Nations Development Program, UNDP, is presently vying for the office of the Governor of Osun State, Nigeria, on the platform of the Social Democratic Party, SDP.
