Stop Appointing Coordinating Directors For Osun Civil Service’, Omigbodun, Osun SDP Guber Candidate Warns Oyetola
“My attention has been drawn to radio announcements of yet another fresh Coordinating Director appointed for the Osun State Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, to replace a retiring one.
I had warned the indefatigable workforce of Osun State public service to be wary of fake promises of Governor Oyetola and his APC, similar to ones he made prior to the 2018 elections concerning their promotion, that he never backed up with cash to date!
If Governor Oyetola were to showcase any intention of sincerity on the fresh premises he made to the same workers again this year 2022 May Day, just a few weeks to another governorship elections, he ought to have immediately pronounced the Outgoing and other sitting Coordinating Directors, as Permanent Secretaries of their respective Ministries, having acted for such for so long.
Any ruse about unnecessarily long promises for examining candidates for appointment as Permanent Secretaries of the Osun State Civil Service would have been perceived with confidence and reliability, had there been no unfortunate history of the retiring Coordinating Directors never becoming Permanent Secretaries in their respective lifetimes.
Now that a fresh Coordinating Director has been appointed, against the spirit of Governor Oyetola’s promises to Workers this year 2022, May Day, I sympathize again with Osun workers, and I assure you all of a better deal when I am elected and sworn in as Osun State Governor later this year, by God’s grace and the support of all Osun people.
Council Managers appointed by the present administration, for the Local Government authorities should also be named Heads of their respective Local Governments as soon as a Social Democratic Party, SDP, government is established, DV, under a Governor Goke Omigbodun, later this year”.
