The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Presidential Candidate in the forthcoming general elections in Nigeria, Prince Adebayo Adewole, has taken a swipe on the APC led government, describing it as a failure.

Adewole who is leaving no stone unturned to garner people’s support for his presidential ambition vows to put an end to insecurity if elected as President.

While responding to questions on a a live television show, recently the media proprietor turned politician explained that Nigerians are presently yearning for new crops of leaders to lead the country out of social economic and political woes bedeviling the country.

Adebayo argued that Nigerians have given the current party enough time to prove its competence  and make Nigeria better but failed woefully.

According to Prince Adebayo, the government has been standing in the way of the people to achieve their long term developmental goals hence the need to inject fresh heads into the polity.

Adebayo added that if given the mantle to rule, he will get the government working for the people and not working against the people. He said that a responsible government is a facilitator to it’s citizens growth as it must propel and encourage their ideas.

The presidential hopeful reminds President Buhari of how he enjoyed a better government under the regime of former premier of Northern Nigeria, Amadu Bello.

He stated that it was the government of Amadu Bello that picked Buhari as an orphan and put him in a boarding school and then in the army where he ended up as a general.

According to him, the government did not get in the way of Buhari and he has been in government for seven years getting in the way of the people.

The government should be humble public servant rendering service to the public. A government should look at the gap and provide the necessary basic amenities for the people
