2023: How Akume Directs Benue APC Youth Leader to Burn Down Houses of Shija, Gemade, Aondoakaa

In Makurdi, a meeting of APC North Central zonal officials led by its zonal Vice chairman, Hon Muazu Bawa Rijau with Benue APC stakeholders and the 23 local government youth leaders was held at the Precious Events centre on Thursday 15th September 2022.

A statement signed Tervere Begha, an ally of Chief Bernabas Female which was obtained by SECURITY MONITOR noted that the most spectacular speech at the occasion was given by the State APC youth leader Mr Tertindi Sado Adom, alias “Snakes”, who had earlier arrived the venue with heavily dreaded looking thugs, claimed he was speaking for the leader of the party and Hon Minister of Special Duties and intergovernmental Affairs, Sen George Akume.

The youth leader announced that modalities had been put in place to demand the recalcitrant Governorship aspirants, Prof Terhemba Shija, Senator Barnabas Gemade and Chief Michael Aondoakaa to withdraw their cases against Alia within seven days or have their residential houses and business empires go down in flames.

Mr Adom, a renowned ex- convict and lunatic cult leader was roundly cheered by his audience including APC stalwarts like Chief Simon Shango, the State chairman, Comrade Austin Agada and the disputed governorship nominee Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia.

The APC youth leader boasted that the party was firmly in the hands of its leader and would not tolerate any form of dissent from anybody whose name is not in its register. He said a rapid response squad is now on standby to deal decisively with enemies of Akume and unwarranted litigants like Shija Gemade and Aondoakaa who feel dissatisfied with the APC primaries.

It will be recalled that three weeks ago unknown, arsonists were reported to have burnt down the palatial residents of an APC chieftain in Otukpo, Alhaji Abubakar Usman, aka the Young Alhaji, a known critic of Senator George Akume.

Meanwhile,The DSS agents who covered the event have accordingly filed their reports about the security implications of APC leader’s ultimatum to the three illustrious Benue politicians.

At the time of filing this report, it was not confirmed whether the trio of Shija, Gemade and Aondoakaa had taken up the matter with the Security Agencies. A few concerned citizens expressed shock at how supposedly responsible leaders of the party were silent when such chilling threats were issued against Shija, Gemade and Aondoakaa. They called on the security agencies to arrest and prosecute the Benue APC youth leader and his accomplices as well as President Mohammadu Buhari to sack lazy, awfully devilish and belligerent minister of Special Duties George Akume.
