ANTI-DRUG IMPACT FOUNDATION CHARGES THE LAGOS STATE COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, CALLS FOR MORE TIGHTENED SECURITY IN ALIMOSHO
By Ifedolapo Ogunnowo // The Founder of a Non Governmental Organization, Olayiwola Ibrahim calls upon the the Lagos State Commissioner of police, Fakayode Adegoke Mustapha on insecurity of the State.
The Activist made this call during a visit to the comptroller James, Folusho who was attempted kidnapped in Alimosho, Ikotun, area of Lagod State.
According to reports, the Comptroller was attacked while going home at his residential Street gate.
He was able to escape but was Shot on spot with his driver who was also shot while his phones, and some amount of money in his bag was taken away.
Olayiwola said the rise of kidnapping/robbery cases around Ikotun axis has become a menace in the area.
Recalled that three weeks ago, a record of kidnapped case occured at Saint Mary bustop Governor road, Ikotun, Lasu Iyana Iba road, Isheri, and Cancel bustop are of ikotun respectively.
While urging the CP to improve on more tactics and surveillance toward insecurity, Activist Olayiwola stated that the importance of Security is to save lives and property of the Citizens noting that the need for more logistics for the his officers to transport them to distress call scenes is very important in order to save lives.
Olayiwola also call for more collaboration and cooperation of all Communities leaders and residents in Lagos State to be more vigilant, advocating that when you note any form of misery, or suspicious about any move within the locality, should please report to Community leaders and also involved the police, that way we can all conquer the evils perpetrators.
