By Olayiwola Ibrahim // Today, Daaru Na’im Central Mosque marks a significant milestone as it celebrates 20 years of preaching and educating Muslims from the Holy Quran of the weekly Halqo held on every Sundays.

As part of its anniversary, the mosque has reached chapter 12, themed Suratul Yusuf, which sheds light on the life and teachings of Prophet Joseph.

According to Nigerian Muslim Scholar, Preacher, and Educator Sheikh Imran Abdul Majeed Eleha, Suratul Yusuf highlights Prophet Joseph’s righteousness, faith, and patience in the face of adversity.

Stating Suratul Yusuf as one of the strongest chapter of the Holy Quran, Imran said.

The chapter emphasizes the importance of trust in Allah’s plan, patience, forgiveness, integrity, and the power of prayer.

Sheikh Imran also took the opportunity to pay tribute to the late Sheikh Muyideen Ajadi Bello, acknowledging his efforts in spreading Islam.

He warned clerics who have been defaming the late preacher on social media to cease their actions, stating that they would face the law if they continued.

As the longest chapter of the Quran, Suratul Yusuf establishes the authority of the Quran as a clear and authoritative book.

The chapter serves as a powerful reminder of Allah’s sovereignty, mercy, and guidance, providing a model for believers to follow in their own lives.

The story of Joseph, introduced in verse 3, is a powerful and instructive narrative that teaches lessons about trust, patience, and leadership.

The chapter encourages reflection and contemplation, using the dream sequence in verse 3 to symbolize the importance of integrity, compassion, and wisdom in guiding others.

He added that Suratul yunusa, suratul Hudu, suratul Yusuf, Suratul Ibrahim, suratul An’am, indicates the truthfulness, clarity, righteousness, as a clear and authoritative book which is a fundamental principle of Islam.
