AMUWO ODOFIN APC HOLDS MOTHER OF ALL RALLIES IN LAGOS

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Amuwo Odofin LGA on Wednesday 9th July 2025 put up an electrifying mega rally never seen in the history of the local government since the inception of democracy as residents, party faithfuls, dignitaries from all works of life were on ground to witness the epoch event.

Present at the historic event was the Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin LGA Engr. Valentine Buraimoh, GAC Leader Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, Former House of Reps member Hon. Oghene Oboh, Executive Director (operations) NSITF Hon. Mojisola Macaulay, House of Assembly member representing Amuwo Odofin constituency II Hon.Wale Rauf, Commissioner for Special Duties Hon. Gbenga Oyerinde, the party chairman Apostle Ayo Ogungbiye, Former House of Assembly member and Chairman of the Mega Rally Prince Sultan Adeniji Adele, Former Vice Chairman and Chief of Staff to the council chairman Hon. Idris Abubakar, APC House of Assembly Candidate in the 2023 general elections and chairman Mobilization committee Hon. Ola Folorunsho, the Apex leadership led by Alhaja Memunat Ajao and Prince Rasheed Otolorin, the seven (7) councillorship candidates, the chairmanship and councillorship aspirants, well meaning party faithfuls and other very important personalities.

The atmosphere became charged with the grand entry of the Flag-bearer of the APC, political steamroller and incoming Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin LGA, Prince Lanre Sanusi (PLS), his beautiful and adorable wife who flew in from the United States of America Dr. Mrs Sanusi, and the vice chairmanship candidate Mrs Maureen Ashara.

P.L.S., while addressing the thunderous crowd, admonished them to troop out in the multitude to support, canvass and vote for the All Progressives Congress on Saturday starting from top to bottom. He maintained that there is no opposition in Amuwo Odofin LGA, and even if there is, they would be whitewashed at the polls on election day. History in our local government elections will repeat itself in a massive way.

The GAC leader Senator Musiliu Obanikoro hailed the choice of P.L.S as the party’s flagbearer considering his clout, political history and contributions to the party.

One of the councillorship candidates Hon. Gbenga Akinbinu of ward C, while addressing newsmen praised the sagacity of the party in presenting PLS as it flagbearer, and assured all residents of massive development in ward C and by extension other wards as the lineup of the APC councillors this time remains formidable.

As all attention shifts to the Saturday elections in Lagos State, Amuwo Odofin residents await the arrival of the new sheriff in town, the son of the soil, pragmatic, energetic and dogged politician, Prince Labre Sanusi to ascend the throne of leadership and implement his campaign manifesto in earnest.
