Grassroots Orientation In Lagos: NOA Partners Apapa Local Government
The Management team of National Orientation Agency (NOA), Lagos State on Wednesday, 28th February, 2018 paid a working visit to the Executive Chairman of Apapa Local Government, Honourable Adele Elijah Owolabi, to acquaint him with the activities of the Agency at the grass root. The team was led by the Director, Mr. Waheed Ishola; Deputy Director, Planning, Research and Strategy, Mr. John Emah; Deputy Director, Programmes, Mr. Rapheal Bowoto; Deputy Director, Human Resources, Mrs. Aderonke Jacobs and Assistant Director, NOA Apapa Local Government, Mr. Segun Onaderu.
Welcoming the NOA Management Team, the chairman noted that the Local Government regards the Agency with high esteem because of its activities within and outside the local government area. To him, it’s a family affairs because of the good relationship enjoyed. He promised his administration’s commitment to collaborate, synergise and support the National Orientation Agency (NOA), towards carrying out its programmes and activities in the Local Council Area.
Earlier, the NOA State Director, Mr. Waheed Ishola, commended the amiable listening young chairman and management of the Local Government for their reception and level of work done so far going to 200 days in office. He stressed NOA’s preparedness to assist the Local Government in propagating its programmes and activites in the grassroot area. Especially now that the 2019 General Election is around the corner. He equally used the occasion to passionately appeal for more engagement of the WAI personnel.

In attendance were: Local Government Head of Administration, Prince Sunday Olujobi; Information Officer, Mr. Olaniyi Idowu; Human Resources Officer, Barrister Ayoko Paul Gboyega; Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Olalekan Bakare; WAI Commander, Apapa, Mr. Wale Onakoya, and other Council Principal officers
