Akinbade To Contest Osun Guber Race In PDP
As the race towards the Osun State governorship election gathers momentum, a former Secretary to the State Government, Engr. Fatai Akinbade has concluded plans to formally signify his intention of contesting in the election slated for September, this year.
To this effect, according to the Akinbade Media Office, (AMO), the erstwhile SSG who had served as a Commissioner for four years and the State Chairman of the PDP that led the party to victory in 2003 governorship polls, will tomorrow, Wednesday, formally submit his letter of intent to the PDP executive at the party secretariat, BIKET Area, Osogbo.
The event slated for 10:00am, is in line with the directive of the party in the state that those wishing to contest the state governorship, should signify through a formal letter to the party.
The Akinbade train is expected to take off from his campaign office at Oke-fia, Opposite Government House Annexe through Ola-Iya Junction to Asubiaro – Oja-Oba – Station Road, and Ajegunle to PDP Secretariat at BIKET Area, Osogbo.
Meanwhile, while urging his supporters to troop enmasse, Akinbade implored them to comport themselves to reflect his Philosophy of “No – Violence, No – Thurgery”.
