KWARA 2019: WHO IS THE REAL JUDAS? BY JACOB OYEWALE
This rejoinder is to correct the wrong impression created by the writer of a letter titled “Letter to the Judas Called Mashood Mustapha” circulating on the social media.
The ill-informed writer addressed three main issues: nPDP, Saraki Dynasty’s relationship with the Mustaphas and Moshood Mustapha himself.
To start with, the recent letter of new PDP addressed to National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and President Muhammadu Buhari was plotted by a selected few in the new PDP bloc with governing party at federal level-APC.
Kawu Baraje is a known puppet who will do everything to satisfy his pay master any time, any day. While co-traveller, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola is working round the clock to get his groove back after Court of Appeal removed him as Osun State Governor in 2010.
Aside that, Baraje at the moment can no longer speak authoritatively for or on behalf new Peoples Democratic Party bloc within APC because the group does not exist again. So Baraje and his co-travellers should not cause unnecessary division in our great party.
If the group still exist, Baraje should publish the minutes of the meeting where the decision to write the letter was taken and post attendance too.
The real betrayers are those wining and dining with the President and using their foot soldiers to fight President Muhammadu Buhari and the APC codedly.
On the relationship between the family of the Mustaphas and the Sarakis, both families are reputable clans in Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State as a whole.
The aged father of Moshood Mustapha has great respect for late Olusola Saraki and it’s on record that Baba Saraki also treasures the cordial relationship that exists between the two families.
It’s laughable that one inconsequential guy that lacks home training is trying to ridicule the entire family to score cheap political points.
To put the record straight, the Mustapha family is not a parasite in Saraki political dynasty but a strong pillar of support for the family, especially during the days of Baba Oloye.
Ahmed Aberi should next time get his facts and figures right before posting trash on the social media.
Furthermore, we reject attempt to tag Moshood Mustapha as Judas because he is not one. Moshood Mustapha served in the federal civil service meritorously for 17 years before venturing in business and politics where he has become a good brand name.
Moshood Mustapha, fondly called MM by his lovers is not a paper weight politician in Kwara State but a strong force to reckon with in the political terrain.
In Politics, there is no permanent friend as interest is the only permanent thing in politics. Hence, there is no crime if MM moves to the next level because Saraki’s body language does not support his 2019 governorship ambition.
The stubborn facts in Kwara State at the moment is that MM 2019 project is spreading like wild fire and nobody can stop it.
We know more of you are still coming for Moshood Mustapha, just be aware that MM is unstoppable.
