2019: “We’ll Win With You” , Tinubu Assures Buhari
By Daudu Huleji Emmanuel/ABUJA/ Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former governor of Lagos State and All Progressives Congress, APC, National, leader have assured President Muhamadu Buhari of all round victory in the 2019 presidential elections.
Speaking at the June 12 event held in honour of Bashorun MKO Abiola, winner of the annulled June 12, 1993 presidential elctions, the APC National leader expresses satisfaction with the leadership of the Buhari led administration, noting that in respect to democracy and honour of the freedom fighters, 1993 is one historic event in the history of Nigeria democracy.
Tinubu in his remark at the State House, Aso Rock, Abuja expressed gratitude to the present administration and assured the Buhari led administration of returning to power in 2019.
Tinubu who boldly said ” we will win with you because you have done too well”, added that President Buhari has healed the wound left untouched by past leaders
The event was a follow up to the presidential order that June 12 be declared Democracy Day in Nigeria and presentation of posthumous award of GCFR to late MKO Abiola and awarding of national honour to lae Chief Gani Fawehinmi, and others
Other dignitaries who graced the occasion includes APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, Nobeal Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, human right atavist and SAN. Femi Falana, frank kokori among others.
