Transportation Ministry Denies Recruitment of Railway Engineers

The federal ministry of Transportation has bluntly denied a public notice from the ministry inviting interested candidates to apply for Railway Engineering scholarship to China. This was in a statement signed by the permanent secretary of the ministry on the 20th of June, 2018.

In the statement, S.Zakari said, ” It has come to the notice of the management of the Federal Ministry of Transportation of a wide circulation on social media of a letter on sponsorship of candidates to China for Railway Engineering Course. The General Public is invited to note that the ministry never placed any advertisement on sponsorship of candidates to China for railway engineering course in the media and as such the media is is not receiving any application for such training from the general public “.

But the purported letter calling on the general public for interested candidates from the ministry was also signed on the 11th of June ,2018 by the Permanent Secretary of the FMOT, S.Zakari.

This calls for proper investigation of this fraudulent act and perpetrators brought to book to forestall future occurrence of impersonation and fraud.
