APC IRELAND BACKS BUHARI’S SECOND TERM
Members of the All progressives Congress (APC) in Republic of Ireland have commended the present government for the laudable projects being implemented ,calling on Nigerians all over the world to continue to support the government so that the country lost glory can be restored back.
The position of the APC IRELAND chapter was made known in Abuja after the National convention of the party by a member of the association,Otunba ROB Balogun describing the national convention as peace,free,fair and devoid of acrimony,advising other political parties emulate APC.
He equally disclosed that APC IRELAND chapter will support the second term ambition of president Muhammadu Buhari as well as the governors of the party especially Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state.
According to the party chieftain “I am here representing our chapter, that is APC IRELAND chapter in which I am a member of its board of trustees. The convention of the party as you can see is free,fair and peaceful which is worthy of emulation by all other political parties. We are throwing our support to the second term ambition of Mr President because of the wonderful job he is carrying out across the country especially his anti corruption war. Governors of the APC who are also delivering on their electoral promises will also be supported especially Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state.”
“It may interest you to note that this is the first time that we shall be sending representative to the national convention of the party. We are happy to be here live and direct. We must however not forget the role of the immediate past party officials for their efforts in stabilising it.Mention must also be made of the untiring efforts of the national leader of the party,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu who resisted evil plots of the past regime and defeated them. We call on all progressives to join hands with Mr President in moving this great country forwards economically,socially and politically”
He concluded by stressing that the convention was attended by members of the party in diaspora including UK,Ghana,USA etc, and that efforts are being made to ensure that they vote during elections wherever they are in the world
