APC Chieftain Hails Yahaya Bello, Edward Onoja Over Developments In Kogi

By Ola Simon/LOKOJA/The people of Kogi State have been urged to sustain their support for the All Progressive Congress (APC) for the overall development of the state and Nigeria in general.

An APC stalwart from Kogi State, Doctor Bolufemi Olarotimi, gave the advice while reacting to the fifty eighth independent anniversary of Nigeria.

He said there are thousands of reasons to appreciate God despite obstacles recorded in the history of the nation.

His words ‘the independence we are celebrating is worthwhile because it reminds us of our journey from the precolonial, colonial and post colonial period. It provides us the privilege to access our success, challenges and failure for analytical purposes and to improve, adjust and eradicate where necessary’.

On the assessment of Kogi State, Doctor Olarotimi who whished the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, his Chief of Staff, Edward Onoja and the members of his cabinet a happy celebration noted that the Yahaya Bello led administration has surpassed its predecessors in so many ways.

According to him, Kogi State has been able to curtail insecurity to the bearest minimum as well as the maintenance of serene environment which are vital to the development and prosperity of any society.

He urged Kogians to work prayerfully with Governor Bello to achieve his desired goals for the state.

Olarotimi maintained that the youths have been massively empowered to raise up to the challenges of modern world saying such development will position them for future leaders.

He urged all and sundry to work with Governor Yahaya Bello with collective determination to put Kogi on the world map of development.
