Family, CDHR Cries Out Over Activist Kehinde Lawal Whereabout
The family and friends of.Comrade semiu Kehinde Lawal who is a member of the committee for the defence of human rights (CDHR) and also a phone and laptops engineer are seeking for the help of Lagos state commissioner of Police and general public to know whereabout their brother who was wisked away yesterday at about (2:45)pm, by some unknown gunmen at his workshop in Oke Koto in Agege, Lagos without any form of identification but he was just told that they were policemen, they also handcuffed him in the presence of Muhammed, Temitope and lekan, who were his workers with an undentified men with riffles, matched him to a Camry car in which the number of the car was not identify by anybody and driven away.All the phones of his customers and laptops was also carried away along with him,Immediately he was disengaged and all efforts to reach him, via his phone number proved abortive. His fellow comrades in Oke Koto unit (CDHR) and others comrade from other human rights organisations, his wife (Mrs Rofiat Lawal),his father(Mr Lawal semiu Emiola), and some of the residents in the vicinity went to Lagos State police command, and others station like elere police station, abattoir police station, isokoko police station to find him, all efforts to locate the comrade proved abortive, the number of PCRRU ( public complaint rapid respond unit) was contacted and informed about the issue, they responded by telling the coordinator of oke koto unit (CDHR) (comrade Sulaiman oladimeji k. Tijani) to go to the nearest police station which is elere police station to lodge his complain which he did.
committee for the defence of human rights oke koto unit is using this medium to seek for the intervention of all the concerned agents, Lagos State commissioner of police, and The general public to assist to locate the whereabout of this comrade because his families and friends are in sadness presently.
