PVC-Naija, Fadahunsi Partner To Hold Seminar On Nigerian Project

The desire of most Nigerians to have this nation restructured is no longer in doubt. Across the geopolitical zones come calls, calling for it. They want the federation returned to the legacy our founding fathers laboured for, before the rascals in kakhi tore our articles of union and forced on us, a rag and tag documents of decrees for a constitution. The intellectual property of our father’s was substituted with the whims and caprice of few. Nigeria became a conquered territory of the cabals. Taking turn to oppressed the people, rape the nation and plunder our commonwealth.

Politicians are not unaware of the yearning of the people for a true federations, exploring this desire, APC came with the promise of it in 2014 and in excitement the masses haul their votes into ballot boxes for APC, four years has gone by, and promise made has become promise broken.

The PDP presidential candidate has shown personal commitment to the issue of restructuring, good has this intention may be or otherwise. The people must be proactive to guide against the deception encountered with Buhari administration. It is now a case of once beaten twice shy.

Restructuring is the meat of the people which can only be chew through their legislative representatives. Steps therefore must be taken in this direction. Commitment to restructuring must be the basis of engaging anyone who is seeking to represent us. The 2/3 equation needed for the passage of the bill must be our focus, and any candidate not showing same must not be given the previlege of been a part of the 9th Assembly.

Chief Ade Fadahunsi OFR, the senatorial candidate of Ife/Ijesa, had a meeting with Dr Bolaji Akinyemi President PVC-NAIJA, on the need for political education for would be legislative representatives at understanding the merits of restructuring in his words ” to getting Nigeria working again”. Fadahunsi said his mission to the Senate is to give back to all the communities and institutions that made him who he is today. Starting from Ife/Ijesa where he was born and raised, the progress ideology of the Yoruba nation that gave him free education and defined his identity, the University of Lagos that activated political thoughtfulness, Nation Youth service that brought the understanding of the big Nigeria picture, art and culture that offered him is first opportunity to serve the nation, and the custom service that rewarded his hard work with two national honours (MFR and OFR). Fadahunsi said “I am indebted to the Nigeria nation, the Senate will afford me the opportunity to pay back a little, my generation must strive to restructure to give to the coming generation what we benefited from the nation that worked”. Dr. Bolaji Akinyemi, agreed to work with him within the demographic communities of National Assembly Candidates across party divide to initiate the restructuring dialogue.

Ade Fadahunsi though a would be first-timer to the red chamber. He is a trail blazer whose records of achievement in custom service speaks volumes. Arguably the officer with the highest single seizure in the history of the service, he also championed many reforms while in service, he initiated the Federal operation unit and was it pioneered coordinator, his efforts at Federal Operation brought honour and dignity to the custom service.

Dr. Bolaji Akinyemi, believe the faterlizing bedrock of democratic growth is dialogue.

An event to set the ball of the yet to elected members of the 9th Assembly rolling is being put together by the trio group of friends of Fadahunsi, PVC-NAIJA, and Fadahunsi Support Group.
