2019: Going To The U.S Wont Save Atiku From Defeat’, Lai Mohammed
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, says the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar won’t escape defeat in the forthcoming election even if the United States of America decide to issue him a Green Card.
Lai Muhammed stated this on Friday while briefing State House journalist in Abuja, where he accused the Waziri of Adamawa of benefiting from slush funds that led to the collapse of Platinum Habib Bank also known as Bank PHB.
“We are not perturbed one bit. He can go ahead and get a U.S. green card. That will not save him from imminent defeat in the forthcoming election,” Mr Mohammed said. Election will be held here not in the U.S.”
“We want him to stay in the US for as long as he wants but he has to explain how Nigerian money was laundered abroad to Nigerians when he returns,” he said.
