The Need To Probe Buhari’s Hired Crowd By Bolaji Akinyemi

The mammoth crowd at the APC rally held in Kano ahead of the forthcoming election should be investigated urgently.

This call is against the backdrop of the current suspicion in the public domain that it was a hired crowd from the Niger Republic.

Suffice to say that hiring of crowd to worm Buhari into the minds of people to win their votes during the polls has been taken to an international level by the Muhammadu Buhari’s Administration.

As far as I am concerned, the mammoth crowd witnessed in Kano was reminiscent of the biblical huge conspiracy of the Ishmaelite against the Issacites.

It was gathered that the crowd from Niger Republic was led by their governors to Kano under a special arrangements by this administration, using Gandollar who is desperate to fulfil his promise to deliver 5 million votes to the APC during the presidential election on February 16, 2019, if not checked.

This conspiracy must not be allowed to stand. The number of PVCs generated by the Vice President’s fraudulent Market Money programme (Tradimoni) must not be allowed to be deployed to aid illegal immigrants to vote in Kano.

I call on the Nigerian Immigration Service to provide the movement log at the Nigeria/Niger boarder in the past one month and to close all Nigerian lands and water boarder immediately till after the elections.

Also, the international community should come to our rescue. Therefore, the United Nations should assist us in monitoring movements of people. ECOWAS should be on its toes with a view to ensuring that the next Nigerian president is elected by Nigerians, not Nigeriens and Libya dissidents whom the president had informed during the heat of farmers/herdsmen crisis that they were responsible for internal carnage going on within our territory. Yet, his government has not deemed it fit to arrest any of such dissidents up until now.

We urge a massive international vigilance and election observation especially in Kano. We also call on EU, UK, US and all lovers of democracy around the world to place Kano under a special watch.

Our concern is for our democracy to be what it is meant to be; a government of the Nigerian people, by the Nigerian people and for the Nigerian people.

This absurdity of interference in people’s conscience and decision in voting for their candidates of choice must be checked urgently if this legacy must be achieved.

Dr. Bolaji Akinyemi President PVC-NAIJA.
