Olumegbon, Ajah Monach Passes On

By Femi Adetunbi/LAGOS/ The traditional ruler of Ajah land, Chief Fatai Lawal, the Olumegbon Ajaye of Ajah has passed on. The monarch joined his ancestors in early our of Sunday 24th 2019 after a brief ilness.

Until his death, Chief Lawal is the Oliri of White Cap Chief of Lagos Royal House.

Olumegbon who was in a tussle with Ojuopon family, and many Ajah indigenes over the rightful ownership of Ajah land since 2009 is  regarded as a fearless and brave monarch.

However ,many were killed during the communal crises in Ajah, a fast developing surburb of Lagos.
