DSS Releases Handbook on Anti Kidnapping Tactics, Sends Free Copies To VIP
By Wale Abydeen// In a bid best described as proactive measures to prevent kidnapping, the Department of State Services, DSS has released a handbook on kidnapping. The book which was said to have been carefully researched by the Anti-Kidnapping Coordination Unit, AKCU, of the DSS is imperative due to “seeming lack of awareness and basic preventive tips and guidelines among the populace”.
Titled: Kidnapping; Why Me and My Family, the handbook is an in depth assessment of new trends in kidnapping cases across the states of the federation.
The handbook which is easy to read and understand with simple language has the tendency to promote security of residents in Nigeria especially Very Important Personalities, VIP, Politically Exposed People, PEP, diplomats, captain of industries, business moguls, etc.
Though, marked Not for sale, ‘Kidnapping; Why me and My Family’ has been sent to many ministries, parastatals, VIP, groups and agencies of government as it exposes the readers to tactics employed by criminals to identify and attack their targets.
