LAGOS WAI BRIGAD HOLDS 2ND ANNUAL PARADE COMPETITION

The 2nd Annual Parade competition of WAI Brigade Lagos State Command which was held on Saturday the 10th of July, 2021 at the State Headquarters of National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Ikeja, Lagos State had the Charlie Zone coming first in the Competition.

In his opening remarks, the Chairman, Organizing Committee, Deputy State Commander Olayinka Lawal thanked members for their interest in participating in the parade competition. He said that the purpose of the competition was to create a perfect relationship amongst all officers and make sure everyone is fit for future programmes.

Declaring the event closed, the State Commander, Patriot Fred Otuokpayevbo commended the organisers, participants and all officers for their commitment, service and dedication to the brigade and country as a whole. He urged participants not to relent in their commitment and zeal but to continually do their best to project the good name of the command in all their undertakings. He finally presented the winning trophy (OBUOLE Trophy) to Charlie Zone, winners of the 2nd Annual Parade Competition, 2021.

It would be recalled that over 500 officers and men from the 5 Zones that made up Lagos Command participated in the competition. The Zones are Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta and Echo Zones.
