Lagos WAI Brigade Embarks on 4-Day Para-Military Training

By Kayode Adeyemo/LAGOS//The WAI Brigade Nigeria, Lagos State Command on the 2nd of September, 2021, held a Four-day Para-military Training Course for over 250 officers and men of the command in addition to two other invited States Commands with the theme: Insecurity and Community Policing, the Role of NOA WAI Brigade.

The event which took place at the NOA WAI Brigade land on Ketu/Omu/Epe Roundabout junction, ketu Omu Road in Ikorodu, Lagos State witnessed officers and men undertaking different obstacles, rope climbing and bill-board exercise amongst others.

Declaring the annual bush camping open, the Director, National Orientation Agency (NOA) Lagos Directorate, Mr. Waheed Ishola, represented by the State Commander, WC. Fred Otuokpayevbo Ogbohodo commended the officers and men of the command for their dedication and commitment of service to the country, even as they do it on a voluntary basis. He urged them to pay particular attention to the training course for both physical and mental fitness.

Dignitaries at the closing ceremony included the Baale of Omu who represented the Adeyowa family, Alhaji Kayaoja Wasiu, one of the State Patron; Ketu Omu Divisional Police Officer and others.

The Highlight of the event was the Saturday Camp Fire and distribution of Certificates to outstanding Officers and men
