Fake News: I Was Not Arrested By EFCC’, Says Fani-Kayode
By Wale Abideen/ABUJA// The oratory former Aviation Minister and Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has described the news making rounds that he has been arrested by the anti-graft as fake.
According to a statement he made available to SECURITY MONITOR, Chief Fani-Kayode who was at the George Hotel for dinner yesterday noted that he was in EFCC office briefly. “I was never arrested by the EFCC. I was invited and I flew down to Lagos to see them. I arrived in their office at 2.00pm & left at 8.30pm”.
The politician also added that he was granted bail on self recognition. He described the conduct of the EFCC officials as very polite and professional.
