Tinubu: The Birth of Yoruba Global Women

By Wale Abydeen/ LAGOS// The mndate to secure over whelming success for the APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has given birth to a rally point for Yoruba women across the globe.

Under the auspices of Women 4 Tinubu, YWT, a non governmental organization aimed at actualizing the political ambition of APC presidential candidate.

the group enjoys the support of distinct Yoruba women across the states of the federation both in Nigeria and in disapora.

YWT has grassroot influence and of great impact from different sectors in Nigeria and diaspora.

The Convener of the group, Comrade Toyo Busayo in a statement notes

that “the group was borne out of the need for a desirable Nigeria where electricity consistency, adequate safety of lives and properties , good health, good management of our natural resources, and employment, which will foster sustainable development in our societies”

According to Comrade Busayo, “it is widely known that no nation can grow and be ranked among the best without good leadership strength that can attract development at all levels”

She adds that “history confirmed Senator Ahmed Bola Adekunle Tinubu impacted and touched lives when he served as *Governor of Lagos state, from 1999 – 2007 also served as Senator representing Lagos West during the third republic and still continued till now irrespective of tribe, ethnicity and religion.”

The vocal young lady however stresses that “Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu is the choice of good citizen of our country Nigeria both resident and diaspora most especially the yoruba women at local and international level”

“He worked to build people and position them without considering their tribes or religion status”.

Busayo reiterates that “the likes of Mama Olufunmilayo Ransome – Kuti, Efunsetan Aniwura, Kofo Ademola, Abimbola Awoliyi, Kudirat Abiola, Kemi Adeosun and many more also fought for this course, gave it their all and are still relevant till today either dead or alive”.

“Therefore, the relevancy of a typical Yoruba woman can not be underestimated”, she said.

The YWT Convener maintaiins that “Hence, the mandate to stand by our own son of the soil is to foster strong support through community leaders, grassroot politicians in their various field, youths, and Yoruba market women within the country and across the globe. We will all come out to elect *Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next president of the Federal republic of Nigeria to do the needful, as he is known as (EMI LO KAN)”

According to her YW4T formation cuts across the 36 states including the FCT, Abuja.

Toyo Budayo affirmes that “We are ready to make sure that our principal officer Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu get to the villa as a result of massive votes from Yoruba Women 4 Tinubu”.
