Labour Party Chieftain Alleged Olumide Akpata is being Sponsored by Gov. Obaseki, Makes Shocking Revelation

By Edom Emanuel/BENIN CITY// ONE of the Labour Party faithful, Comrade Chris Osagie has digged on Barrister Olumide Akpata as Governor Godwin Obaseki’s mole in the party. In a message sighted by SECURITY MONITOR, the Labour Party’s member hinted on the alleged dishonesty of the aspirant over 20 cars gift to the party. I said it before that the so called car gift was a Greek gift and a scam, Mr Akpata brought Sienna vehicles to Labour Party secretariat saying he gifted them to the party in a bid to building the party. After presenting the vehicles, he took them back saying he needed to register them for the party.

“He registered the vehicles in the name of a company called Zopaz Advisory Service, with an address in an apartment flat in 1004 Estate V.I Lagos, as against the name of Labour Party Edo State.
Zopaz Advisory Service is owned by Olumide Anthony Akpata and Mr Adesola Joshua.

“Question number two, amongst the document presented by Mr Akpata for each vehicle, he presented photocopies of the vehicles proof of ownership and held on to the original copy. Why give everyone the impression that you are gifting the vehicles in good faith in building the party when indeed you have ulterior motives just to sell yourself as wanting to build the party.

“My LGA Chairman and other Chairmen have confirmed it, why play on people’s intelligence by been so cunning and deceptive, Labour Party is bigger than any Governorship Aspirant.
I said it before that Mr Akpata is not to be trusted, now it has finally played out.

“Our principal Mr Peter Obi came in his humble and selfless character to offer himself for service, this has taken Labour Party to where it is today. Mr Akpata’s approach in his bid to hijack Labour Party will not work and rather create confusion and rankor in the party.
I urge our Labour party official’s and Leader’s to be wiery of accepting certain gifts and to the party. Our Principal Peter Obi & Our National Leader Dr Alex Otti are both men of honour and integrity, they got victory.

“Barrister Olumide Anthony, come in equity and in clean hands, you never gifted the vehicles in good faith, they are still your vehicles and your plan is to retrieve them if you are denied Labour Party Guber ticket.

“This was even further buttressed at the grounds of the party Secretariat by one of your very close promoter Mr Jude Ato who said openly to the ears of anyone who cared to listen that he, Mr Jude will personally come to retrieve the cars if Mr Olumide Akpata is not given the ticket. Several witnesses can testify to this fact.

“Respect is never a given, respect cannot be purchased, respect must be earned, based on concrete and consistent action over time”, Comrade Osagie said.

When contacted, the legal practitioner turned politician debunks the allegations, stressing that he’s man of himself.

In a statement he made available to SECURITY MONITOR, Akpata confirms that the vehicle he donated to his party belongs to LP and rumour mongers are just misleading the public.
