TEACHER ALLEDGEDLY FLOGS STUDENT TO DEATH IN LAGOS

By Olayiwola Ibrahim// There is currently pandemonium at Araromi Ilogbo secondary school in Oko Afo, Lagos as students protest the demise of their colleague who was allegedly flogged to death by a teacher.
It was gathered that the unfortunate incident occurred on Thursday, January 25, 2024.
According to reports, the teacher identified simply as Oluwale, attacked the student for not paying attention during his class.
The student, who was said to be sick, was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Meanwhile some said students said that the death was due to misunderstandings between the deceased and his mate, while another said he slumped and die due to prolonged untreated typhiod malaria which caused his sickness but the cause of actual death has not been ascertained.
It was a Pandorama as student scramble for safety from policemen who came to dose the tension but were later attacked by the students.
