NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE PUBLIC RELATION OFFICER, OLUMUYIWA ADEJOBI PROMOTED TO DEPUTY COMMISSIONER OF POLICE

By Olayiwola Ibrahim / Lagos //The Nigeria Police Force has announced the promotion of its Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Olumuyiwa Adejobi, to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP).

This development was approved by the Police Service Commission in recognition of Adejobi’s exceptional service, professionalism, and dedication to modern policing in Nigeria.

According to the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, Adejobi is a symbol of integrity and service, and he urged him to continue upholding the highest standards of discipline and transparency in his new role.

Adejobi’s promotion is seen as a testament to his outstanding contributions to the Nigeria Police Force, particularly in improving its public image and communication systems.

Adejobi’s background includes serving as the Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State from 2008 to 2016, where he gained recognition for his professionalism and effective communication.

He holds a combined honors degree in Archaeology and Geography, as well as a master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Ibadan.

As the new Deputy Commissioner of Police, Adejobi is expected to continue his efforts in rebuilding public trust, enhancing accountability, and modernizing the force’s communication channels.

His promotion reflects the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to recognizing merit and rewarding professionalism.
