DEMOLITION OF MECHANIC VILLAGES: FIWON Holds Media Conference Tuesday
The Federation of Informal Workers’ Organizations of Nigeria (FIWON) and the Nigeria Automobile Technicians’ Association (NATA) is to hold a press conference tomorrow Tuesday, 21st February to draw public attention to a case of illegal demolition of two mechanic villages recently by the Lagos state Government.
According to a statement by FIWON General Secretary, Gbenga Komolafe, the demolition was carried out without official authorization and that has subjected many families to untold hardship hence the need to seek redress to the injustice.
