FCT COMMISSIONER OF POLICE PAYS FAMILIARIZATION VISITS TO SISTER SECURITY AGENCIES IN ABUJA
By Olayiwiola Ibrahim // The Commissioner of Police, Federal Capital Territory Command, Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, PhD., fcai, on Tuesday, 14th April 2026, paid familiarization visits to key sister security agencies in Abuja.
The visits included engagements with the Commander, Army Headquarters Garrison, Maj. Gen. W.M. Dangana; the Commander, Naval Base Abuja, Commodore O.E. Oladipo; the Commander, 053 NAF Camp, Air Commodore Imoke Emeng-Imoke; and the State Director of Security, FCT Command, U.N. Dauda.
The visits form part of the Commissioner’s ongoing familiarization tour and are aimed at strengthening inter-agency collaboration and enhancing joint operational strategies to improve the overall security architecture of the Federal Capital Territory.
CP Ahmed Sanusi reiterated that effective security within the FCT is anchored on unity of purpose among all security agencies.
He commended the existing cooperation among the agencies and emphasized the need to sustain and deepen synergy in addressing emerging security threats across the Territory.
He further stressed the importance of fostering synergy and mutual respect at all levels, particularly among junior officers, as a critical foundation for seamless inter-agency operations.
In their respective remarks, the heads of the visited agencies reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the Police and maintaining strong collaborative efforts toward ensuring peace and stability in the nation’s capital.
The visits concluded with renewed commitments to mutual respect, cooperation, and sustained partnership among the security agencies.
