Dear, Umar Sani, you lied!
Your outburst claiming that Bassa Local Government is collaborating with Fulani herdsmen to slaughter Dekina people is pure satanic propaganda. Titled “The Hidden Conspiracy Behind the Killings…” — what a shameless pack of lies!
In your second paragraph, you had the audacity to spit: “The Fulani herdsmen are not acting alone. They are collaborating with certain groups from Bassa…”
You are playing with fire! You are deliberately fanning the flames of war between Bassa and Dekina. But hear this loud and clear: We Bassa will not allow your desperate attempt to drag us into your bloodbath. Our people know the Igalas are supposed to be brothers — even though many of you have repeatedly proven you don’t deserve that brotherhood.
Your poisonous rant is no surprise to us. This is not your first time pointing accusing fingers at Bassa while your own people sneak into Bassa homes and farms like cowards to kill innocent souls in cold blood. Your hands are dripping with the same blood you’re trying to smear on us.
Let the records scream it loud:
The killings you cry about are nothing but reprisal attacks caused by some of the bad boys because of their wickedness (your own people’s wickedness). Go and confront your traditional rulers who collect fat bribes from the Fulanis, sell land and settlements to them, and then pretend to be victims. Drag those blood-money chiefs out!
And while you’re at it, arrest and discipline those reckless youths in your area who proudly butcher Fulani cows, smuggle the meat to Ibo land, and think there will be no consequences. Actions have reactions. Stop the provocations and the reprisals will stop!
Leave Bassa people the hell alone!
Stop looking for enemies where none exist. Go home and clean up your own rotten house. Educate some of your greedy chiefs and your cattle-thieving youths before you come pointing fingers at us again.
We are watching. Push us too far, and you will not like what wakes up in Bassa land.
